Hydro-Québec Efficient Solutions (Solutions efficaces), small business stream
Solutions efficaces is Hydro-Québec's financial assistance program for more efficient use of electricity, and its small business stream is for customers on a business rate, G or Flex G. The customer pays at least 10% of eligible costs. The participation guide in force was updated on 31 March 2026.

How it pays
The assistance applies to eligible costs, and the customer always pays at least 10% of them. Anything the guide does not treat as an eligible cost is the customer's to pay in full.
The small business stream is limited to business-rate customers: rate G or Flex G. The official guide, in French, sets out which work qualifies.
Funding your share while you wait
Even at a high assistance level, the customer's share, plus any costs outside the guide, still has to be paid when the contractor or supplier bills. For a restaurant or a small plant replacing equipment, that can be a meaningful amount at once.
Equipment financing spreads the cost of the new system over its useful life; a term loan suits a wider renovation. Voxen assesses either on revenue and bank statements. Hydro-Québec's assistance is not taken as security.
