Hiring and training subsidies for employers
For hiring, Quebec employers can look at the Services Québec wage subsidy and PRIIME, and any Canadian employer taking on students can use the federal Student Work Placement Program. For training, Quebec's MFOR program pays a share of the cost. Canada Summer Jobs 2026 is closed, and its 2027 dates have not been announced.

The Student Work Placement Program pays up to $5,000 per placement. MFOR's 2023 guide describes assistance of generally up to 40% of training costs.

The financing that covers the gap
Payroll leaves the account every week or two, from the first day. Subsidies arrive on their own schedule and cover part of the cost. The business carries the rest, and for a growing team that is a real number.
A line of credit smooths the payroll cycle. Where the business invoices customers on 30 to 60 day terms, invoice factoring turns those invoices into payroll money. Voxen assesses both on revenue and bank statements; a subsidy agreement is not used as security.
The Voxen products that fit this program. Ranges are the ones on each product page; every file is assessed on the business's revenue and bank statements.
| Financing | Range | What it covers here |
|---|---|---|
| Line of Credit | Credit Limit: $10,000 – $1,000,000 | Working capital while you wait for a reimbursement or a refund. Draw what the project needs, pay it down when the money arrives. |
| Invoice Factoring | Facility Size: $30,000 – $50,000,000 | Cash from unpaid customer invoices, when slow-paying customers are what makes the wait hard. |
