MFOR workforce training program (business component)
MFOR, the Programme de formation de la main-d'œuvre, is the Quebec government's workforce training program, and its business component helps employers pay to train their staff. Amounts are set case by case. The program's 2023 guide says assistance generally covers up to 40% of costs, or 65% in some cases, with priority to firms of 6 to 99 employees.

How it pays
MFOR pays a share of a training project, not all of it. At the 40% the guide describes as the general ceiling, a $25,000 training plan leaves $15,000 for the business to pay.
Priority goes to firms with 6 to 99 employees. That is a priority, not a stated limit, so smaller and larger firms should read the official page before ruling themselves out.
Funding your share while you wait
Training costs land up front: trainers, materials, and the hours staff spend learning instead of producing. The business pays its share and keeps operating through the training period.
A line of credit is the simplest way to spread that out, because it is drawn as costs come in and repaid as cash returns. Voxen assesses it on revenue and bank statements, not on the training file.
