Student Work Placement Program
The Student Work Placement Program is a federal wage subsidy for employers who take on students for work placements. It pays up to $5,000 per placement, and the money flows through delivery partners rather than directly from the government. Intake is continuous, so there is no application window to wait for.

How it pays
The subsidy covers part of the student's wages, up to $5,000 per placement. The employer pays the rest of the wage.
Employers deal with a delivery partner, not with the department directly.
Funding your share while you wait
A placement adds a person to payroll from the first week, while a wage subsidy contributes only part of that cost. For a small team that is a real addition to weekly cash out.
Most employers carry it with ordinary working capital. Where customers are slow to pay, invoice factoring can fund payroll from invoices already issued. Voxen assesses either on the business's revenue and statements.

| Financing | Range | What it covers here |
|---|---|---|
| Line of Credit | Credit Limit: $10,000 – $1,000,000 | Working capital while you wait for a reimbursement or a refund. Draw what the project needs, pay it down when the money arrives. |
| Invoice Factoring | Facility Size: $30,000 – $50,000,000 | Cash from unpaid customer invoices, when slow-paying customers are what makes the wait hard. |
